Kayaking Terrapin Creek in Piedmont Alabama

This past weekend a couple of friends and I floated the Terrapin Creek up in Piedmont Alabama. This was a great float for beginners to intermediate paddlers as the water flowed at a pretty good pace with very little dragging the bottom of the river. There are several places to put in and take out along the creek. It is also pretty easy to go as a single as there are several businesses renting kayaks and offering to pick you up down stream.
