Hey everyone! I live in Clanton, work as a journalist. I enjoy hiking, camping and being outdoors on the weekends and as I can. Unfortunately, my family doesn't share my interests. Looking for hiking buddies for regular meet-ups.

What are your favorite outdoor activities?

Hiking, backpacking, canoeing, fishing and photography.

Where is the coolest place you've been?

Mt. Leconte in the Smokies.

What's the most adventurous thing you've done?

Wouldn't describe myself as "adventurous," so nothing too out there.

Where is your favorite getaway spot?

Oak Mountain State Park.

How did you hear about Outdoor Club South?

Internet search.

I am definitely interested in co-organizing a backpacking trip along the AT and would love to try North Georgia (especially Blood Mountain) again in early November. I'll have a four day weekend (like I do every month) and would be interested setting something up for backpacking on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (tho returning to Birmingham by Sunday evening). I'll talk more with you soon.
