Sam, the date doesn't make a difference to me. I just know you were talking about doing this trip on labor day weekend (which I think is the 3rd, 4th, and 5th) but saw that when you posted it, it was on the 10th. I just wanted to make sure you meant to post it on the weekend of the 10th. It doesn't make a difference to me.

Hey Sam! I am definitely interested in going Saturday, but have never done a trip like this before. I have done only a little kayaking/canoeing. What it be easy for a beginner? I have no equipment. I'm part of this group for the hiking usually:) I think it would be an awesome experience though! Would everyone be meeting there or riding together from Birmingham? Thanks for your help! Hey Sam. I haven't even had it in the water yet. Let me know anytime you want to go boating. I'd love to go anytime. Fishing sounds good also. I actually fish a good bit myself (but from a bass boat).
